Sound, so often the downfall of this venue, was pin-sharp, thanks to Tom Davison of Trained Ears, who achieved exactly the right balance between singers and the music tracks – we heard every word.

Wind In The Willows – NODA
The Festival Hall is notorious for sound problems but with Tom Davison in charge, everything was crystal clear, and we heard pretty much every word and the excellent quality backing tracks never overwhelmed the singers.

Sound (Tom Davison) was excellent too – in this notoriously tricky hall we heard every single word. It was loud enough to feel like a concert but not deafening.
Lighting was just breath-taking, and sound was crystal-clear.
